Software Developer

• In-depth knowledge of any one of Python, PHP, Ruby, Javascript.
• Experince with relational databases like MySQL or Postgres
• Some exposure to non-relational databases like Cassandra, MongoDB, Redis, etc.
• Deep insight into the inner workings of the Web with at least passing familiarity with ideas like REST, APIs, Graceful Degradation, Caching, Message Queues, Web Sockets, etc.
• Experience in using and administering *nix systems like GNU/Linux & Mac OS X.
• (Optional) Experience starting or contributing to open source projects.
• (Optional) Started side projects, doesn't matter how big or small.

UI/UX Engineer

• Deep knowledge of CSS and HTML5.
• Familiarity with lean UX and customer development concepts.
• Understanding of web-standards and the basic rules of building great user experiences.
• Familiarity with mock-up, wireframing tools.
• Some ability to make illustrations.
• Knowledge of Typography.
